After his son is gunned down and the case goes nowhere, Steven Seagal's Simon Ballester, a former special ops agent with a violent past, moves into the neighborhood where it happened and starts hunting for the killer himself. What begins as a father's search for answers turns into street-level confrontations with gang members and other figures tied to the murder. Eddie Griffin is Max Ballester, the cop whose death sets the story in motion, with Carmen Serano and Danny Trejo among the people orbiting Simon's investigation and retaliation.
