Rude Awakening

Comedy100 min

Two burned-out former radicals resurface after years off the grid and stumble back into the America they once tried to change. They expect a quiet return, but old politics, old enemies, and their own unfinished history quickly turn the homecoming into a mess. As they try to figure out what became of their ideals, they also have to deal with the people who remember them very differently than they remember themselves. The comedy comes from the clash between 1960s rebellion and a very different late-1980s world, where every attempt to pick up the thread of the past only creates fresh trouble.
