A young Elizabeth inherits the British crown and steps into a role that reaches far beyond ceremony. As her reign begins, she must learn to govern under constant scrutiny while balancing duty to the country with the demands of marriage, motherhood, and a family shaped by tradition. Each decision carries consequences inside the palace and at the center of national life, where private tensions can become public crises. Created by Peter Morgan, it stars Claire Foy and Matt Smith.
