House of Cards

DramaThriller52 min per episode

After the White House shuts him out, Congressman Frank Underwood turns a political slight into a campaign for power in Washington. Kevin Spacey is Frank, a calculating operator who treats blackmail, favors and carefully staged loyalty as tools, often speaking directly to the audience as he maps his next move. Beside him, Robin Wright's Claire Underwood is no less disciplined or ambitious, managing her own public image and private leverage. The series moves through Congress, the West Wing and the press corps, where every alliance is transactional and private scandals can become political currency.
