Reasonable Doubt

The story

A corporate criminal defense lawyer moves through Los Angeles cases where money, image, and guilt are never cleanly separated. Jax Stewart, played by Emayatzy Corinealdi, is brilliant in court and reckless outside it, taking on high-profile clients while her marriage, family life, and own judgment come under strain. Each case pulls her deeper into murky territory where protecting a client can mean handling lies, secrets, and dangerous people who do not stay in the courtroom. As the pressure builds, her work and personal life start colliding, and the line between legal strategy and personal risk gets harder to hold.
