Derry Girls
Comedy24 min per episode
In 1990s Derry, five secondary school students try to get through crushes, parents, and Catholic school rules while Northern Ireland’s political conflict presses in around them. Saoirse-Monica Jackson is Erin, whose everyday teenage problems rarely stay small for long, with Nicola Coughlan among the friends at her side. Family kitchens, classrooms, and school offices become the stage for arguments, schemes, and embarrassments, while the city beyond them is shaped by checkpoints, headlines, and the constant noise of the Troubles.
