A Bug's Life
ActionAdventureAnimationComedyFamilyFantasy95 min
Flik is an inventive ant whose latest scheme leaves his colony even more exposed to the annual demands of a gang of grasshoppers. Voiced by Dave Foley, Flik heads out in search of fierce warriors and returns with a ragtag circus troupe that only looks dangerous from a distance. Kevin Spacey’s Hopper keeps the grasshoppers in line through sheer intimidation, while Julia Louis-Dreyfus’s Princess Atta is stuck managing the colony as Flik’s ideas keep backfiring. The film scales its world around blades of grass, scattered seeds, and the looming threat of predators overhead as the ants scramble to defend their home.
