In 1960s London, twin gangsters Reggie and Ronnie Kray build an empire of nightclubs, protection rackets, robberies, and murder as the city turns them into tabloid fixtures. Tom Hardy is both brothers, drawing a sharp line between Reggie's polished ambition and Ronnie's volatility while police detective Leonard "Nipper" Read stays on their trail. Based on the Krays' rise in the underworld, the film follows the brothers as business, family loyalty, and public notoriety become harder to separate.
