The Best of Me
DramaRomance118 min
Dawson and Amanda, once high school sweethearts, reunite when they return to their small hometown for the funeral of a beloved friend after 20 years apart. James Marsden and Michelle Monaghan carry the story in the present, with Luke Bracey and Liana Liberato as their younger selves in scenes from their first romance. Moving between past and present, the film follows a reunion that stirs up old feelings and the same circumstances that drove them apart in the first place.
