Under the Silver Lake
CrimeDramaMysteryThriller140 min
After a woman he barely knows disappears overnight from his apartment complex, Andrew Garfield’s Sam drifts through 2011 Los Angeles trying to piece together where she went and why. Riley Keough is Sarah, the enigmatic neighbor he spots swimming in the building’s pool before she vanishes by morning. What begins as a missing-neighbor search widens into a knot of coded messages, celebrity lore, wealthy recluses, and possible secret societies stretching from Silver Lake to the Hollywood Hills. Sam’s investigation moves through parties, rooftops, comic-book clues, and dead ends as obsession starts to steer the search.
