The Golden Glove
ComedyCrimeDramaHorrorThriller115 min
In early-1970s Hamburg, serial killer Fritz Honka prowls the red-light district and spends his nights at the Golden Glove, a neighborhood pub packed with drifters and lonely regulars. Jonas Dassler is Honka, a disfigured alcoholic whose awkward, desperate presence turns increasingly dangerous; Vasiliki Georgina Pseimada is among the women caught in his orbit. Moving between the bar’s boozy singalongs and the squalor of Honka’s apartment, the story follows how violence takes shape inside a world of routine drunkenness and casual cruelty.
