A struggling actor in Los Angeles is forced to take over his children’s education when his father can no longer pay their private school tuition. As Aidan tries to homeschool them, the job exposes how unprepared he is for everyday responsibility and how much of his own life has stalled out. Money problems tighten, old family tensions surface, and his wife starts carrying more of the practical weight than he does. While Aidan searches for a way forward, he also has to face a distant brother and a father whose health is failing. Zach Braff and Kate Hudson anchor a story about adulthood arriving long after youth is supposed to end.
