Backcountry
ActionAdventureDramaHorrorThriller92 min
Alex (Jeff Roop) leads his girlfriend Jenn on a remote camping trip in the Canadian wilderness, convinced he knows the backcountry well enough to leave the marked paths behind. Missy Peregrym's Jenn is far less experienced outdoors, and the getaway turns dangerous when the couple lose their bearings deep in the woods. Stranded inside a black bear's territory and cut off from help, they face rough terrain, dwindling options, and the threat moving somewhere beyond the trees. Eric Balfour and Nicholas Campbell appear around the edges of the trip, but the story stays close to the couple as isolation and panic start to take over.
