The Monster

DramaFantasyHorror91 min

An emergency late-night drive turns into a roadside trap when a troubled mother and her adolescent daughter crash on a desolate stretch of road and realize something is moving in the woods around them. Zoe Kazan is the divorced mother, trying to keep control as fear and old damage surface; opposite her, Ella Ballentine's wary, headstrong daughter is forced to rely on the person she trusts least. As they wait for help in the dark, the creature outside closes in and the fractures between them come with it.
