The story
When the grown-ups of Kasukabe start abandoning work and family to relive their youth at a new 20th-century expo, Shin-chan is left to figure out what’s happened and how to bring them back. Akiko Yajima and Miki Narahashi are among the voice cast in a story that turns a townwide nostalgia craze into a child-led rescue mission. What begins as a strange wave of adult obsession grows into a bigger threat for Shin-chan and the other kids, with the series’ usual unruly humor colliding with a plot about memory, childhood, and adults who no longer want to act their age.
