After a teenage boy finds a weapon that doesn’t seem to belong on Earth, he uses it to pull his newly paroled adoptive brother out of trouble with a violent crew. Myles Truitt is the younger brother suddenly carrying something far bigger than he understands, while Jack Reynor’s older ex-con turns their escape into a chase involving federal agents and mysterious mercenaries. James Franco is the criminal they’ve crossed, closing in as the brothers try to stay ahead of everyone who wants the weapon back.
