The Time Machine

ActionAdventureSci-Fi96 min

After a sudden loss in 1895 New York City, inventor Alexander Hartdegen builds a machine to rewrite the past. Guy Pearce is Alexander, a brilliant professor whose experiment instead sends him 800,000 years forward, into a broken future where humanity has split between the surface-dwelling Eloi and the subterranean Morlocks. As he searches for answers about time itself, he finds an ally in the artificial intelligence Vox (Orlando Jones) and becomes caught up in the Eloi's struggle to survive the world below.
