A team of archaeology students heads into the past to retrieve their stranded professor, only to find themselves stuck in 14th-century France. Paul Walker and Frances O’Connor are among the students suddenly trading excavation work for armored knights, medieval politics, and a battlefield they can’t simply step away from. David Thewlis is the professor whose disappearance sets the mission in motion, while Gerard Butler and Billy Connolly add to the group racing to survive long enough to make it back. The time-travel setup collides with mud, steel, and close-quarters combat as history stops being academic and becomes immediate.
