Pieces of a Woman
Drama127 min
Vanessa Kirby is Martha, a young woman whose planned home birth ends in tragedy, leaving her to face the aftermath while the people closest to her pull in different directions. As months pass, her relationship with Sean, her partner, begins to strain under grief and silence, while Martha’s mother Elizabeth (Ellen Burstyn) pushes for accountability from the midwife, Eva (Molly Parker). What follows stays close to Martha as loss reshapes her body, her family, and the choices she’s willing to make about blame, memory, and moving through a year she never expected.
