Absolute Power
ActionAdventureCrimeDramaThriller121 min
A master jewel thief breaks into a tycoon’s mansion expecting an easy score and instead witnesses a woman’s killing from inside a hidden room. The men involved are Secret Service agents, and the crime reaches all the way to the White House, turning Luther Whitney into the only witness to something powerful people need erased. As he tries to stay ahead of the investigation, the evidence in his hands makes him both a target and a threat. Clint Eastwood’s thief is pushed into a dangerous game of pursuit, cover-up, and leverage, while the president, played by Gene Hackman, works to keep the scandal buried.
