Highway
CrimeDramaRomance133 min
Just before her wedding, a young woman from a wealthy family is kidnapped for ransom and taken on the road by a group of criminals. Alia Bhatt is the bride-to-be at the center of the ordeal, while Randeep Hooda’s gang leader refuses to back down even after the men realize who she is. As the flight stretches from highways to hideouts, panic inside the group gives way to an uneasy connection between captive and captor. Imtiaz Ali’s film turns that forced journey into a story about fear, class, and a life that starts to look very different from the one waiting back home.
