On a vacation in Corsica, Tara (Deepika Padukone) meets Ved, a stranger who suggests they spend their time together without sharing their real names or lives. Their connection is built on stories, improvisation, and the freedom of being someone else for a while. Years later, Tara finds Ved again, and Ranbir Kapoor’s Ved is very different from the version she remembers from that trip. Imtiaz Ali’s film moves between the rush of their chance encounter abroad and the more complicated reality that follows when fantasy and everyday life collide.
