Comanche Territory

DramaWestern76 min

Famed frontiersman Jim Bowie arrives in Comanche Territory with a treaty meant to preserve an uneasy peace between the U.S. government and the Comanche, while white settlers press for access to silver on protected land. Macdonald Carey's Bowie steps into a town already on edge, where the Crooked Tongue Saloon is run by Katie Howard. Maureen O'Hara is Katie, a sharp, self-possessed figure with her own stake in what happens next, alongside her brother Stacey (Charles Drake). When the treaty goes missing, the dispute over land and mining rights turns the town into a flashpoint between opportunists, officials, and the Comanche.
