Guy Pearce is Leonard Shelby, a man hunting his wife’s killer while living with a rare form of short-term memory loss that erases the last few minutes of his life. To keep moving, Leonard relies on Polaroids, handwritten notes, and tattoos on his own body, piecing together clues from motel rooms, phone calls, and strangers who may be helping or using him. Carrie-Anne Moss’s Natalie and Teddy (Joe Pantoliano) drift in and out of his search as Christopher Nolan tells the story in reverse, with each new scene reshaping what Leonard thinks he knows.
