Corridor of Mirrors

DramaMysteryRomance105 min

A sophisticated man falls hard for a much younger woman, then starts to believe their meeting is not the first but a return from another life. Eric Portman is the suitor at the center of that suspicion, while Edana Romney's enigmatic young woman becomes bound up with memories he can't fully explain. Barbara Mullen adds another unsettling presence as the romance gives way to questions of obsession, identity, and recurrence. Made in Britain in 1948, the film wraps its mystery in mirror imagery and a distinctly Gothic noir sensibility.
