After his wife and partner steal his cut from a heist and leave him for dead, Mel Gibson is Porter, a low-level thief who comes back looking for his money and a settled score. Gregg Henry’s Val is the partner who sold him out, and Porter's search pulls him through a city of crooked cops, hotel-room deals, and organized-crime fixers. As he works his way up the chain, every conversation turns into a negotiation over cash, loyalty, or survival. The story keeps circling one blunt demand: Porter wants his share, and he’s willing to make enemies at every level to get it.
