In an alternate present-day Los Angeles where orcs, elves, and humans share the same streets, an LAPD officer and his orc partner stumble onto a magic wand and land in the middle of a prophesied turf war. Will Smith is the human cop, working uneasily beside Joel Edgerton’s orc partner as the case pulls them through gang territory, police corruption, and a city shaped by old racial hierarchies. As they try to protect the wand and the elf linked to it, everyday patrol work gives way to chases, shootouts, and magic breaking into the middle of urban crime.
