Mason Storm is a detective whose discovery of political corruption gets his family targeted and leaves him shot, hidden away, and presumed dead. Steven Seagal is Storm, a go-it-alone cop who wakes from a years-long coma to find his son grown up and the people behind the attack still in power. With help from a hospital nurse (Kelly LeBrock), he retrains, tracks the men who came after him, and tries to keep the few people tied to him out of the line of fire. The setup folds undercover-cop intrigue into revenge, gunfights, and Seagal’s close-quarters martial arts style.
