Jonathan is one of the biggest names in Rollerball, a violent arena sport built on speed, collisions, and spectacle. Chris Klein leads the lineup alongside Marcus (LL Cool J) and Aurora (Rebecca Romijn), fellow competitors whose fame puts them under the control of Jean Reno’s promoter, Alexi Petrovich. When Jonathan and Marcus try to leave the game behind, Petrovich refuses to let his stars walk away, pushing them back toward a league where the danger doesn’t stop when the match ends. Directed by John McTiernan, this remake leans into a harsher, darker version of the sport.
