After Sarah Hargrave rescues an orphaned boy in the South Pacific, a tragedy leaves him and her young daughter stranded alone on a remote island. Lisa Pelikan's Sarah saves Richard, and years later Milla Jovovich is Lilli, growing up alongside Brian Krause's Richard with no adults, no society, and only the island's routines to shape them.
