When a family takes a wrong turn in the Texas desert, they wind up at a remote lodge linked to a devil-worshiping sect ruled by the Master (Tom Neyman) and watched over by the uneasy caretaker Torgo, played by John Reynolds. Mike, Maggie, and their young daughter arrive looking for shelter, then discover a strange household of wives, rituals, and mounting tension inside the compound. As they try to leave, the road-trip detour gives way to occult ceremony, isolated desert roads, and a hidden community devoted to “Manos,” with the family trapped in the middle of its power struggles.
