The Car
ActionAdventureFantasyHorrorMysteryThriller96 min
After a black coupe appears on the roads outside Santa Ynez, Utah, and starts running people down, Captain Wade Parent takes over a town already rattled by rumors that no one is behind the wheel. James Brolin is Wade, the officer trying to protect a desert community that suddenly feels cut off and hunted, while Kathleen Lloyd appears as Lauren, a local schoolteacher drawn into the danger. When the killings move from empty stretches of highway toward the town itself, what starts as a hit-and-run investigation turns into a confrontation with something that may not be human.
