Before Sunset
DramaRomance80 min
Nine years after their one-night connection in Vienna, Ethan Hawke is Jesse, now an American author in Paris for a book reading when Julie Delpy’s Celine finds him before his flight home. With only a few hours to spare, they walk the city together, catching up on careers, relationships, and the compromises that have shaped their adult lives. Jesse has a family waiting in the States, Celine has built a life of her own, and their reunion turns increasingly candid as old chemistry resurfaces. Richard Linklater follows their conversation through streets, cafés, and cramped car rides across late-afternoon Paris.
