A Beautiful Mind

DocumentaryDramaMysteryRomance135 min

At Princeton University, Russell Crowe is John Nash, a brilliant but socially remote mathematician whose early breakthrough opens the door to academic fame and secret work in cryptography. As Nash is drawn into coded messages and a shadowy assignment from William Parcher (Ed Harris), the patterns consuming his mind begin to overtake the rest of his life. Jennifer Connelly's Alicia enters as the student who becomes his wife, standing close as his career accelerates and his sense of certainty starts to fracture. Ron Howard’s film tracks Nash through ambition, obsession, and the uneasy border between genius and suspicion.
