Die Hard
ActionAdventureThriller132 min
On Christmas Eve in Los Angeles, New York cop John McClane arrives at his estranged wife’s office party just as a heavily armed group seizes the Nakatomi Plaza tower and takes the guests hostage. Bruce Willis is McClane, trapped inside the skyscraper and forced into a one-man battle while trying to reach Holly, whose corporate life is far from his own. Opposing him is Hans Gruber (Alan Rickman), the polished, calculating leader of the takeover. As the LAPD and FBI gather outside, McClane’s only lifeline is patrol officer Al Powell, with Reginald VelJohnson bringing a grounded counterpoint to the chaos above.
