ComedyDramaRomance100 min

When struggling novelist Sam (Josh Radnor) takes in a young boy he finds alone on the New York subway, his already unsettled life starts to tangle with the relationships around him. Sam’s connection with Mississippi, a singer and waitress who doesn’t indulge his drifting bachelor habits, develops alongside the problems facing his friends: Malin Akerman’s Annie is living with alopecia and stuck between two very different men, while longtime couple Mary-Catherine and Charlie hit a crossroads over their future and a possible move to Los Angeles. The story follows a tight-knit group of twenty-somethings trying to sort out love, friendship, and adulthood in the city.
