At Wakabakai General Hospital, young nurse Izumi Asakura is trying to plan a honeymoon while surviving a new chief nurse’s rigid rulebook when a needy ex-patient turns the ward into a hostage scene. Alisa Mizuki is Izumi, whose workday gets steadily messier as protocol collides with panic. The trouble starts with Saruwatari, a hypochondriac angling to be readmitted so he can stay close to nurse Shoko Ozaki (Yuki Matsushita); once security throws him out, he comes back armed. With police surrounding the building and Shoko stranded outside, the hospital’s staff and patients meet the standoff with a very different attitude from the authorities.
