Tom Hanks is Larry, a middle-aged man trying to rebuild his routine one class at a time, while Julia Roberts appears as the teacher who becomes the center of his growing crush. As campus life opens up around him — from classroom nerves to new friendships and scooter-side socializing — the film follows Larry’s attempt to piece together a different future after a sudden setback.
