What It Feels Like for A Girl
Drama48 min per episode
In working-class Britain, a teenager grows up feeling out of place in the life mapped out around them. As adolescence tightens its rules about gender, class, and belonging, home, school, and the streets all become battlegrounds over who they are allowed to be. The series follows that push and pull through first friendships, risks taken for freedom, and the hard bargains that come with trying to build an identity before the world is ready to accept it. Drawn from Paris Lees’ memoir and adapted by Lees, it stays close to the messy, specific moments of growing up while the pressure to survive and to be seen keeps rising.
