Meet the Spartans
ComedyFantasyWar87 min
Leonidas goes to war in a cape and leather underwear, leading 13 mismatched Spartans against an invading Persian army stocked with pop-culture targets. Sean Maguire is the swaggering hero at the center, while Carmen Electra and Ken Davitian join a comic ensemble built around rapid-fire spoofs. The movie takes its main cue from 300, then swerves into broad slapstick and celebrity send-ups, with Ghost Rider, Rocky Balboa, the Transformers, and even a hunchbacked Paris Hilton turning up in the crossfire.
