The Do-Over

ActionAdventureComedyMystery109 min

David Spade is Charlie, a bank manager whose stalled routine gets blown apart when an old friend reappears with a plan to fake their deaths and start over under new identities. Adam Sandler’s Max pushes him into the escape, but the fresh start goes sideways once the two men learn the identities they’ve taken belonged to people tangled up in a criminal mess. Paula Patton, Kathryn Hahn, and Luis Guzmán join the chase as Charlie and Max try to stay ahead of the trouble they inherited, turning their reunion into a buddy caper built on bad assumptions, gunfire, and a disappearing act that won’t stay simple.
