Twisted Obsession
ComedyDramaFamilyMysteryRomanceThriller108 min
An American writer in Paris takes a script job from a young director he can barely tolerate, only to get pulled into the director’s orbit in a much more personal way. Jeff Goldblum is the frustrated expatriate at the center of it, while Miranda Richardson brings a cool, calculating presence to the director’s sister, whose attention throws everything off balance. What begins as a professional arrangement turns into a tangle of attraction, resentment, and manipulation, with the film project and the family around it steadily tightening their hold on his life.
