A Dangerous Method
DramaRomanceThriller99 min
In the early days of psychoanalysis, Michael Fassbender is Carl Jung, a driven young doctor who takes on a troubled new patient, Sabina Spielrein (Keira Knightley), and begins treating her with Freud’s emerging method. As Sabina’s sessions deepen into a charged personal bond, Jung finds his private life and professional ethics pulling against each other. Viggo Mortensen’s Sigmund Freud looms over the case as mentor, collaborator, and increasingly uneasy counterpart, turning one woman’s treatment into a conflict between two of the field’s defining figures.
