Castaway on the Moon
ComedyDramaRomance119 min
After a failed suicide attempt, a jobless man named Mr. Kim washes up on Bamseom, a small island in the Han River, and finds himself cut off in plain sight of the city. Stranded, hungry, and too far to return, he slowly trades despair for routine as he builds a life from scraps and chance. Across the river, a young woman who rarely leaves her apartment begins watching him from afar, and their separate loneliness starts to take shape as a connection. Park Young-seo and Yang Mi-kyeong lead a story that keeps one foot in awkward comedy and the other in quiet isolation.
