Legionnaire
ActionAdventureDramaWar99 min
After a Marseille mobster pays him to throw a fight, boxer Alain Lefevre wins instead and has to run for his life. Jean-Claude Van Damme is Alain, whose failed escape with Katrina pushes him into the French Foreign Legion, where the danger shifts from city streets to a desert post under a brutal lieutenant. As Alain falls in with a handful of hard-used legionnaires, including men portrayed by Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje and Daniel Caltagirone, the story moves from mob retaliation to military discipline, gunfights, and battlefield survival in the 1920s.
