The Hard Man
DramaWestern80 min
Former Texas Ranger Steve Burden takes a deputy sheriff’s badge in El Solito, a town where cattle money carries more weight than the law and questions still linger around the last outlaw he killed. Guy Madison is Steve, a blunt lawman walking straight into local power struggles and old resentments. The biggest force in town is cattle baron Rice Martin, and trouble sharpens when Martin’s wife (Valerie French) asks Steve to kill her husband. What starts as a new posting quickly turns into a standoff between the badge, the ranch, and a town that already seems arranged against him.
