The Big Land
RomanceWestern92 min
Back in Texas after the Civil War, former Confederate officer Chad Morgan (Alan Ladd) organizes a cattle drive to Missouri, assuring fellow ranchers their stock will bring $10 a head. When they reach the auction, Anthony Caruso's Brog has already driven off the competition and offers far less than Chad promised. What was meant to be a straightforward sale becomes a standoff between the men who trusted Chad with their herds and the cattle baron controlling the market.
