Decision to Leave
CrimeDramaMysteryRomanceThriller139 min
After a man falls to his death from a mountain in South Korea, detective Hae-joon (Park Hae-il) is sent to determine whether it was an accident, suicide, or murder. His attention settles on the dead man’s widow, Seo-rae—Tang Wei’s enigmatic suspect, a Chinese immigrant whose calm manner and language barrier complicate every interview. As Hae-joon tracks her movements and replays her statements, the case begins to blur with his growing attraction to her. Directed by Park Chan-wook, the film keeps its focus on police procedure, surveillance, and the shifting power between detective and suspect.
