Broker
ComedyCrimeDrama129 min
Sang-hyun is drowning in debt, and Dong-soo works at a baby box facility where infants can be left anonymously. After the two men take a baby left there and try to sell him to prospective adoptive parents, the child’s mother returns and insists on staying involved. Song Kang-ho is Sang-hyun, the older broker at the center of the scheme, while Lee Ji-eun is the mother who joins the search for a home for her son. As the trio travels from meeting to meeting, detectives — including one played by Bae Doona — trail them quietly, waiting to catch the sale on record.
