Black-ops operative Mallory Kane is left for dead after a rescue job goes sideways, then has to fight her way through a conspiracy tied to her own employers. Gina Carano is Mallory, a government security contractor whose training and combat skills are suddenly all she can trust. Michael Fassbender and Ewan McGregor turn up among the men connected to the mission and its fallout as the trail runs from a hostage extraction to Barcelona. Directed by Steven Soderbergh, the film centers its espionage story on close-quarters fights, pursuit, and Mallory’s push to find out who sold her out.
